V-0 Flame Retardant Unreinforced Polyamide Resins For Injection Molding
Polyamide resin, known as Nylon in industry, is regarded as the best synthetic material among the Top 5 engineering plastics. Polyamide 66, simplified as PA66, is the first type of Polyamide resin developed in 1940’s, and is widely used for metal replacement, thanks to its outstanding physical property, in applications including automotive parts, industrial equipment and sporting goods, etc.
Not only of great physical property, but also PA66 exhibits excellent insulation property which metal doesn’t possess. One of the major applications of PA66 is Electrical parts and products such as transformer bobbins, coil forms, solenoids, switches and connectors and so on. But to be used to make these electrical parts, PA66 has to have highest flame retardant performance, this is done by us through modification with most advanced flame retardant technology.
66V0F is a type of unreinforced PA66 resin specially designed for flame retardant applications and environments, it meets the FR requirement of UL94 V-0 and in compliance with UL 746C safety regulations, whilst exhibits best balance of mechanical, thermal and electrical property. It’s in shape of pellets with White and Black as standard colors, customized colors also available upon request.
