Among the SMS structure of a face mask, the middle lining cloth of meltblown nonwoven fabric filters more than 95% of micro-particles in air which contains numerous and invisible viruses and bacteria and fungi and so on, and determins whether a mask can effectively work or not.
Choosing the right material for making the meltblown nonwoven fabric is the first step toward making a quality face mask. Unlike normal PP resins of medium to high viscosity for injection molding , PP pellets used for melt-blown process must have a much higher flow rate-as quickly as water. Scienstein® UHF1500 - Polypropylene Homopolymer with Melt Flow Index of 1500 g/10min which is suitable for meltblown, is specially designed for this purpose and has been widely used by customers all over the world.
