Polypropylene raw material of MFI 1500 in clear granules making N95 mask filters
The middle layer filter of a face mask which is made of meltblown nonwoven fabric, plays the most important role of viruses and bacteria filtration, it filters more than 95% of micro-particles in air with diameters below 2.5 micron, and determines whethet a mask works or not.
The first step to make a meltblown nonwoven fabric of highest quality is to choose the right material - Polypropylene raw material with Melt Flow Index of 1500 g/10min. Besides MFI, other technical data such as Moisture Content and Volatile Constituents of the material also matter in meltblown process, last but not least, the quality of material must keep stable for continuous mass production.
