The meltblown nonwoven fabric is at the core of a face mask and plays the most important role in face protection, it filters more than 95% of micro-particles in air which contains virus and determines whether the face mask effectively works or not.
The first step to make a good meltblown nonwoven fabric is to choose the right material - Polypropylene Homopolymer with Melt Flow Index of 1500 g/10min which is suitable for meltblown. Besides MFI, other data such as Ash Content and Volatile Constituents of the matrerial also matter, and the quality of material must keep stable - lot by lot and day by day - for continuous production of meltblown nonwoven fabrics.
