Face Mask Melt Blown Fabric Raw Materials high MFI PP 1500 for virus protection
Whether or not a Face Mask can effectively protect human body from invasion of viruses and/or bacteria relies on the filtration efficiency of the middle lining cloth of the SMS structure--the meltblown nonwoven fabic, it must filter more than 95% of micro-particles in air which contains numerous and invisible viruses and bacteria and fungi and so on, otherwise the Face Mask will Not have any efficiency at all for face protection!
Unlike normal PP resins of medium to high viscosity for injection molding , PP pellets used for melt-blown process must have a much higher flow rate-as quickly as water, therefore the Melt Flow Index of PP raw material has to be as high as up to 1500 and beyond. Scienstein® UHF1500- Polypropylene Homopolymer with Melt Flow Index of 1500 g/10min which is suitable for meltblown, is specially designed for this purpose and has been widely used by customers all over the world since it's produced by us in February 2020.
